Chris
Chris joined the team from the Princess Yacht’s factory in Plymouth, UK, where he completed a four year advanced modern apprenticeship in Carpentry for the Marine Industry. His qualifications include NVQ Level 3 and City and Guilds Level 3 in Boat Building and Maintenance, the latter covering joinery skills and traditional boat building techniques.
Completing his apprenticeship in 2008 Chris worked predominately on the Flybridge 42 and 78 lines before moving onto the joinery department and later, quality control. Through completion of this qualification, and three further years of service with the company, Chris has developed an extensive knowledge and experienced skill set across the Princess brand and the motor yacht industry.
Andy
Andy joined the team from the Princess Yacht’s factory in Plymouth, UK, where he was an accomplished development engineer. Working with designers and naval architects to achieve what are now regarded as some of the most prestigious luxury motor yachts in the world.
Andy has 25 years of experience in electrical and mechanical engineering, boatbuilding and design. Working as a production engineer at Princess Yachts from 2005 he progressed into the design department in 2008, where he designed and developed all engineering aspects for the V72, V57 & Y88. Andy was also part of a team of engineering developers who worked together on the award-winning 35M M-Class super yacht.
